What is the theme?

I've decided to start themes! Novembers theme is red, white and blue(fourth of July) you probably wonder why red white and blue But veteran's day happens to be on Nov. 11. The reason it's on Nov. 11 is because on the 11 day and the 11 month on the 11 hour a war ended. I can't remember which war but the enemy put down their guns. I thought it would be fun to celebrate!

My BFF is my best friend in the whole state of Nebraska, Michigan, New York, Florida, And Montana. Her name is Selma. She goes to school with me and she lives in my neighborhood. We have 2 clubs together. (our own) and She is the coolest person because she is from Europe. (her parents are)

Bye MOM!

Hawaii time! Hawaii Time! Me and My sis flew to Utah first and saw a Utes game! But the wait for the airplane to Utah was BORING!! When we got to Utah The Game was awesome! WE WON!!!

Day 1 in Makaha

The next morning we headed to the Honolulu air port( 6-7 hours!) LANDING, LANDING! We landed and Me and my daddy went to get the luggage and Alexis and Julie got the rental car. After we got all the stuff, we bought groceries and went home. When we got to our beach house Me and Alexis jumped straight in the pool. It was nice and refreshing to stretch out legs.
After a long day( 5 hour time difference in Omaha) it was nice to go to sleep.

Day 2 in Makaha

The next day We went to Costco to get the rest of the needed supplies needed to survive the week. We went home and practiced snorkeling in the poll and it was time to hit the beach! But unfortunately it was the first time me and Alexis had been Snorkeling. The waves were huge with is a bad thing. Getting started was definitely the hardest. But we saw some cool fish. I think I saw a jellyfish. We were surprised at the end because we ended with extra items than less. We celebrated with a cold drink as we enjoyed the first sun of our vacation. We went home proud for being so good at snorkeling.

Day 3

We woke early, had breakfast, and at around 9:00 we headed to Aloha Stadium for the Swap meet. We Got some awesome stuff: a dress for Alexis, magnets, jewelery, temporary henna tattoos, shirts (lots),Shaved ice, purses, chimes, and decorations. We went snorkeling at Kahi and we swam next to sea turtles! We mostly swam the rest of the day.

Day 4

We swam and played. not much happened. Swam more.

Day 5

Me and Alexis woke up early and didn't want to wake up dad and Julie so we got out sorry. When we got bored we got out a big box called play town. I opened the box. AAAHAHHHHHHHHHH! Carpenter ants began piling out of the box carrying white little things. Dad woke up and took the bow outside. Alexis was brave and began cleaning off the 250 pieces while I was a Chicken and didn't dare touch any thing. When it was all cleaned off Alexis saw a HUGE ONE! She squished it. It was the Queen ant. After that crisis Me and Alexis made some cool houses:After we got bored we went hunting for shells, went swimming and got to hold a sea cucumber. I was scared and dropped it but I picked it up and it was fine. It peed on me. Dad returned it to the ocean.

I look nervous.
We Swam the rest of the day.

Day 6

We went on a hike in Ka'enea and I saw a blow hole ( a blow hole is a hole in the ground that blows because of the heat and energy). But we did not make the whole hike because the road disappeared completely. Instead we went to a beach down the road and dad dug a deep hole so deep it went over Alexis' head. Me And Alexis laid on the sand where the waves hit and we went flying up the shore. It was Awesome! We called it belly surfing. We went to Motsumoto and had shaved Ice. We also went to a yummy burger joint and saw a little kitty cat. When we were done we gave it the left over food. To finish the day we watched Iron Man.

Day 7

We played LOTS of croquet. Julie had a nap. We went boogie boarding. We swam and laid on the beach. We loved the water. And to finish the day We watched thumbelina.

Day 8- LAST DAY :(

It rained in the morning. We went searching for seashells and we made some jewelry. We blew up a GIANT whale and we played with it in the pool. We played water basketball with a football. Dad went snorkeling and we packed up to go home. :(

The plane home was uncomfy and I hardly slept. But now every thing is normal.

Not Many

There aren't many Dominique's in the world except in France where Dominique's are BOYS and that's sad but it's okay. Today I met another Dominique and we became friends. It's cool because there ar hardly any dominique's that I've ever met. I've met 2 other than me in my whole life. SO. . . All I have to say is WOW!

My friend Josh

My friend Josh just moved to Texas but for a very good reason. He has brain cancer and the family moved there because I guess they have a very good treatment. He had surgery while in Omaha and had some chemo too. He has been very sick because of chemo. Hurricane Ike damaged their house but he is O.K. I hope he makes it.

OOPS!!

Oops is right! While I was playing indoor soccer at school I tripped on the ball. I went to the nurse and sat there for an hour with ice on my foot. We called my mom and she came to pick me up. We went to a place called Midwest Minor Medical care and had ex-rays. Fortunately It was just a deep bruise. It should heal after elevating, icing, and Ibuprofen. It will hurt but I can make it. Try not to do it yourself!

Scooby Doo

Scooby Doo is my Favorite animated Dog. I love the show! I know almost anything about him We even used to have a Daphne Barbie. Scooby do has a big heart and BIG appetite. His best friend is Shaggy and loves Scooby snacks. The thing I've seen him eat the most other than scooby snacks is tall sandwiches or hot dogs and hamburgers. His is a scaredy cat ( dog) and always tries to fake his way out of going somewhere spooky. His pronounces words wrong but that's the best part of him. He is a great Dane dog and I wish I had one just like him!

On 06/07/08 George (my uncle) and Liz ( my aunt ) Were married they lived in Ne but now are moving so give a round of applause for them!

Me, my sister, Julie and my daddy are going to Hawaii! On October 1. We have a beach house in Makaha and have a lovely view of the beach! I can't wait to go! Plus I miss One week of School! As they say in Hawaii, Aloha!

4th of July

The 4th of July in Omaha is crazy! My neighborhood is one of the craziest when it comes to fireworks! We had our own personal display right in our front yard. My grandparents came over for the holidays and they watched fireworks with us. My grandpa left on the following Monday and my grandma toke my sister with her to their house in Washington. She will be their for about a week. I have some pictures of fireworks. The whole week before was scattered with fire work and for about 2 days after. I hope I will still be here next year for the festivities. We also had our Aunt and uncle who are currently living here come over and watch with us. IT WAS AWESOME! Hope you had a good holiday and have a good summer!

My Daddy

My Daddy is my best friend in the world. His name is Robin. As you noticed I have a Step Family but I also have my original family. So I have two families, two houses, and two loving Dads. My daddy is funny, strong, fun to play with, and whenever I get hurt he's Daddy the Doctor. Whenever I'm sad he does his best to help cheer me up. He protects me and is happy to play my favorite board game, Chess. My Daddy taught me how and it is my favorite game because it is a really good game for the mind. It gets you thinking and you have to be able to think to win. You also have to look at the opponents pieces or you might find yourself in check or checkmate. (the point of the game is to kill the king and check means a piece could kill him, Checkmate means he has nowhere to go). My Daddy always takes me hiking, skiing and we always have great times together. I Love My Daddy more than a gazillion dollars. I love him so much.

My Piano

I play an instrument. A piano.playing is something that takes practice and because of summer I forgot to. But I have been out of town and never had my music or a piano to practice on. I love piano because you can play loud or soft or medium. Playing make me feel powerful because I am controlling the sound. Reading notes is easy because I was able practice reading them a lot with other experiences. Playing piano has my imagination soar because you can play as a mouse and play quiet or as a giant's stomping feet and play loud. A bear roaring can be a three finger chord. You can make running water with a slide. Anything is possible on it and all it takes is practice, passion for the piano, and a mind that is ready for a perfectly challenging instrument. I have a teacher who allows me to customize my music and make something that make sense to me. My wonderful teacher is named Liz. I encourage you to try this piano!

Family

Family is the most important thing to me. We might not always get along but I will always love my family. You may be the oldest so your parents will expect a good example and more of you and things to be done even if you do it your way. You might be the middle child and you have the easy job, because you get to have an older sibling who helps you and looks out for you because mom or dad might be a little out of style. The youngest is the one mom helps the most, plus you have older siblings looking out for you. I am the middle child and lukily my older sister is a girl so she will be able to tell me about things that will happen to me and eventually my younger sis. So if you have never taken time to realize how speacial your family is you should try it!
