Past Activities

Well, I have been very bad at posting as school has been crazy. But two or three things have happened since my last post. Thanksgiving came and passed, Halloween came (i have pictures on the way) a long time ago and i was in Willy Wonka Jr. The musical (i have pictures!)

I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving, Halloween and well, whatever else.

A while back (300 days or so) I put a poll on this blog and it was to try to prove a point.

In my house, when we go to the grocery store we get 2 kinds of milk. Skim and 2%. I think 2% is gross, but bill loves it so we get both kinds. I wanted to prove the point that skim milk is better and....... It IS!! By voting for skim milk you showed me that more people drink skim milk!

So...

I haven't blogged enough and I think it's time I started. What's happened in my life since middle school started? Well let's see...

It snowed but the snow all melted, We had a "Bully Day" at school where we learned all about bullying, I am on a five day break right now :), and I am bummed that I haven't gotten around to posting! I apologize but getting the hang of middle school just took a little while I guess. It's raining right now... :( that's okay... The songs I'm learning on my violin right now are: Jasmine Flower, The Russian Music Box, Hiawatha, and Winter Wonderland!

First Day of Middle School...

I had a good first day of school. My Homeroom teacher is awesome, school food is good and above all my best friend is in homeroom with me. So far so far the school year has beenfabulous but I guess that's because so far, I've only gone 1 day....

Summer is at the end...

Which one do you like best?

As the day go by, Summer slips away. The rest of the summer has been pretty laid back. We went to see Monsters vs. Aliens with my cousins. I went to see G force in 3-d with my dad. If i haven't already mentioned it I also went to see Up with my grandma and grandpa. I went to Lagoon again with my dad. (pics coming soon) I rode all the rides again. We got a cool pioneer picture taken (HERE!!). I am now back in Nebraska and school will start soon. The drive from Utah to NE was not fun but I am thankful to be home. School will start soon but that's another post waiting in line top be displayed on this blog...

So far this summer...

As I've said I have been on a vacation in Utah. So far we have done tons of fun stuff We drove to Utah and it was a horrible drive (14 hours + overnight stay at motel). When the drive was over we stayed at my Aunt Michelle and Uncle Creighton's house. We went to Lagoon with them and rode a majority of the rides. The last ride I rode was a new edition called "Wicked" and the name describes the ride. It was really fun!!! My little sister Alexis didn't want to ride it so she and Aunt Michelle went on other rides while me and Uncle Creighton waited about 40 min. to ride it. Lagoon was lots of fun. My aunt is a dance teacher so she took us to some dance classes. We watched lots of movies, played many games and had lots of fun. For the Fourth of July we went to a Country Club and had a delicious dinner. After dinner we got to see the Country Club's fireworks show. It was AMAZING!! We are now staying at my Grandpa's house. When the 6th Harry Potter came out my dad, Alexis and I went to see it together. We've been swimming and hanging out. We went to Bear Lake with some good friends. I have had lots of fun and can DEFIANTLY wait for school to start.....................

Last Day of School!!!

The last day of school was pretty fun! When I got to school in the morning I emptied my desk. Then we played review games. Then we went to the gym where we each got a "diploma" or a certificate of completion. Then we had ice cream and we had people sign our yearbooks.

5k

We have been trainging HARD!

Alexis and I ran a 5k! Last year I ran it in 42 minutes, and this time I ran it in 40 minutes.  I had a good time and met some good friends. I feel GREAT! It's good to know that I can actually run................................................................................................................

 My family went to see wicked! It was a phenomenal musical! The actors did a great job! There were a lot of cool effects. I had a great time!

Art!

In school we have art. In art we do projects. We were studying Picasso and then recreating his work and then adding our own personal flair. Picasso had two periods in his life. The rose period and the blue period. My art shows me excited and happy for Christmas on the left side. But, sad news of death ruin Christmas and I am sad on the right side, with a large tear.     Hope you enjoy my art!

I know Harry Potter!

I don't really know Harry Potter, but I know a lot about him. On March 27, I went to a fair at my school called the show what you know fair. My friend and I did a thing on Harry Potter. We listed some spells, made display wands with different types of cores, we displayed out the books, we told about quidditch, Hogwarts and Harry Potter and Voldemort. There was also a book fair and some therapy dogs that you could read to. At the book fair I got 2 erasers that smelled like lemon, an eraser that looks like a mini wad of $50 and a book mark that looks like a piano. I had TONS of fun looking at all the other projects.

Superstorm

This past week has not been going as planned! On Monday I had a Fair to go to (more details on that later) but it was canceled due to a storm. And it was a HUGE storm!!! There were some tornadoes, but everyone was safe! The hail in some places was quarter size and a couple golf ball sized pieces. Some cars were dented and my little sister was nearly blown away! Luckily things have been rescheduled and everything is back to normal!

Sleepovers & Surprises

Over the weekend I had a sleepover at my friend Carli's house. We played on her trampoline when her mom called to us and said that we needed to go to the movie store to get a movie to watch and some candy to go with it. When we got in her garage I started to go in first but Carli's mom said Carli needed to go in first because she needed help with something. When Carli walked in she was startled as about 20 people yelled "SURPRISE!" We had dinner of BBQ chicken, salad, and some fruit. Oh yeah, cake and ice cream too. Then we had a talent show and even some of the grown-ups participated. There were a lot of kids and so we played outside until about 10:00. Then we went inside and told scary stories and everybody left except for me and Carli's friend Kaitlyn. We watched Master of Disguise and ended up staying up until 1:00 (am). I had a TON of fun........................ We have been having sleepover almost every week.............. I just haven't felt like writing..................

UTAH!!!

This past week I've literally been chilling in Utah. It snowed right when we got there. The only price I had to pay was a 24 hr. roadtrip (one way) and a boatload of homework. When I got there my dad made some yummy turkey spaghetti and garlic bread! (YUM) After that we played Mariokart on the wii. I wasn't that good at first but as I kept practicing I got REALLY good. Also that week I spent time with the Hudsons. (my mom's best friend and her son is my best friend) We went to a place called The Classic fun center in Layton. There, we went rollerskating (and blading) we played on big blow-up slides, we played in a jungle gym with the theme of a pirate's cove, and we also kicked butt when we played arcade games. In all (with our tickets put together) we had 630 tickets!!! You see, McKay (my friend) won a jackpot of 577 tickets and I won most of the other ones. WE got friendship rings, ringpops, and some other junk. With my Daddy, I went skiing. At first it was hard but then I got into it and had a blast. I can't wait to go out again.

A night to remeber!

On Friday, Jan 23, My school Reagan Elementary held a mascarade ball. My sister an I got all dressed up and looked beautiful! I had my picture taken, but it was unexpected so I look like I just woke up. HAHAHAHA!!

I had lots of fun. There was a raffle, but I won. . . . . . . . . .NOTHING!!! :(
